The best aspects of this course included stimulating lectures and a professor who is highly passionate about the subject matter she teaches. Students found it easy to understand concepts and intent of artworks, and that the provided material meshed well with the lectures. Suggestions for improvement included a desire for more field trips in order to see some of the works of art in person. Prospective students are advised to take notes and participate in class and that a background in art history would be useful but not required.
